January 14, 2023, Day 1 of Cadet Attachment Program(CAP).

     The day began with our self-preparation (fixing bed, shining shoes, and buckles) just like our usual routine inside the Academy.

     As I expected there a lot of activities happened on the first day of CAP. PMAJ Allan Avena De Castro Chief of Police (COP) of Bauan Municipal Police Station conducted a short briefing on the Programs and Day-to-day Activities of the Station. Giving us a glimpse of the duty of a Chief of police which is to inform and be informed of what is happening inside his area of responsibility.

     After the said briefing, we were given a chance to observe the conduct of the Tamang Bihis inspection. Headed by the Deputy Chief of Police PLT Cueto. It reminds me of the dorm and ranks inspection, and it is somehow aligned with the training program of the academy. It feels like it is just an extension of the academy.

     We were also invited to the 45th Founding Anniversary of Samahang KATUGA together with COMMODORE GREGORIO I ADEL PCG, Acting Commander of CGD Northern Mindanao. Meeting prominent personalities in your area is important to build connections for PCR and for raising concerns and issues within the area to help the community solve problems.

     In conclusion, today's activities gave us hands-on opportunities to learn police works from a deeper perspective.
