Sphere on Spiral Stairs

My Story

Benjamin O. Monteverde Jr. is a 26-year-old gentleman from the coastal city of Lucena. From his humble beginnings, raised by a farmer and housewife, he grew up with a BIG DREAM to become a Police Officer.

He was not born with a silver spoon but he can say that he belonged to a happy and simple home bounded by love and respect. During his elementary to college years, he believed that education is important in building the future he wants to have. He knew he is not the smartest but he tried to maintain being an average student. No medals from Academic Achievements but from his beloved sport, CHESS.

In his college years, even when he got the degree of Bachelor of Elementary Education and passed the Licensure Exam for Teachers, he did not stop thinking about his dream profession, to become a POLICEMAN. He was pursued by his brother to take the PNPACAT, and fortunately, in 2018, he passed and succeeded until the last phase of the application process. Just focusing on what he already has is an easier option for him at that time, but he still tried without assurance of success.

Entering PNPA was the biggest risk of his life. The transition he went through from his civilian life to the regimented way of living has taught him so many lessons.

His life inside the Academy was a combination of ups and downs and everything in between. He gained not only the teachings of the institution but most especially, gained BROTHERS who became his family away from home. Time went by so fast that he realized, he is just months and days away from his dream. It was never easy taking the "road less traveled" but he believed that FAITH, fueled by HARD WORK and INSPIRATION, brought him to where he is right now.
