PHILIPPINE NATIONAL POLICE ACADEMY

PLEBEHOOD
“Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny” – C.S. Lewis
It is one of the most challenging stages of cadetship training, in which you have to forget the way you live outside the academy. Adjusting to civilian life to a regimented way of living is indeed difficult, but it's important to stay motivated and persevered through the challenge.
It was a tough experience to attend the Philippine National Police Academy, especially during my plebe year. It was my first time away from home, and I was uncertain if I would survive. However, I decided to take the risk and see how far I could go. I was eager to see what I was capable of and determined to succeed.
Despite my determination, I encountered many obstacles along the way, and there were many times when I doubted my ability to make it to recognition rights. However, my family and girlfriend's unwavering support gave me the strength to persevere, even though I rarely communicated with them. Their encouragement and belief in me helped me push through the difficult times.
My upperclassmen's motivation also played a crucial role in my survival during plebe hood. They guided and pushed me to do my best, although they also punished me for my mistakes. It was not easy, but their support was instrumental in helping me navigate the Academy's challenges.
Although my time at the Academy was both beautiful and ugly, I believe it was all worthwhile. I learned valuable lessons about discipline, perseverance, and dedication. I grew both academically and personally, and the experience shaped me into the person I am today.
